SIBECO Creates Seamless Harmony in Portuguese Mountain Home
In the heart of Serra de Santo António, Portugal, an old mountain house has been transformed into a contemporary family sanctuary. Maison Amarande architects have masterfully restored this space, creating an open, welcoming home that converses with its olive grove surroundings.
SIBECO flooring plays a pivotal role in this transformation, its continuous surface and nature-inspired tones creating perfect harmony between interior and exterior spaces. The seamless, low-thickness application made it ideal for this restoration project, allowing for uninterrupted flow from inside to outdoor areas.
The versatility of SIBECO shines throughout the project. Its ability to transition from smooth interior surfaces to textured anti-slip exterior areas around the pool demonstrates its adaptability. The chemical-resistant properties ensure durability in all areas, while its compatibility with high-pressure cleaning makes maintenance effortless.
Working alongside Maison Amarande’s vision, SIBECO’s custom colour palette complements the natural materials and vast windows that frame infinite views of olive groves. The result is a warm, functional family home where original spirit meets modern comfort.
It was a pleasure to participate in this kind of project, where the original spirit is maintained and our materials are used to create a unique home.
