Le Marne Relais: Costigliole d’Asti, Italy

Andrea Besana of Besana Mosaici used SIBEXTREME AG STYLE for the Deluxe Room “Ragtime” at Le Marne Relais, set in the UNESCO-listed vineyard landscape of Langhe and Monferrato, Italy. Costigliole d’Asti is a historic municipality.

The flooring transforms an illustration by artist Beppe Giacobbe into a poured terrazzo surface. Hand-cut rubber masks preserved the expressive quality of the original artwork, with three coloured mixes cast to create the composition. Sodalite, Rosso Francia and Bianco di Zandobbio aggregates deliver striking chromatic contrast.
