SIBEXTREME AG STYLE Elevates McKinsey & Company’s Award-Winning Milan Office

In the heart of Milan, overlooking the iconic Duomo, McKinsey & Company’s office space showcases how innovative flooring can enhance contemporary workplace design. This sophisticated project, which earned the Plan Award 2020, demonstrates the perfect balance of functionality and aesthetic excellence.

SIBEXTREME AG STYLE plays a pivotal role in unifying the 1000m² space through its seamless, joint-free application. The predominant white flooring creates a clean, contemporary canvas, while a distinctive pink rectangle in the bistro area pays homage to the Candoglia Marble of the nearby Milan Duomo. This thoughtful design detail is mirrored in the ceiling soundproofing panels, creating vertical harmony throughout the space.

The bistro, serving as the project’s centrepiece, exemplifies modern workplace design. This versatile area adapts effortlessly from casual break space to informal meeting venue, facilitating natural interaction between employees, managers, and clients. SIBEXTREME AG STYLE’s durability ensures the flooring will maintain its elegant appearance despite high foot traffic.

Krei’s expert installation complements the architect’s vision perfectly. The flawless execution of both white and pink surfaces demonstrates SIBEXTREME AG STYLE’s versatility in creating defined zones while maintaining visual continuity. The seamless flooring flows effortlessly through the lounge area to the auditorium and meeting spaces, supporting the fluid circulation patterns essential to modern office design.
