SIBEXTREME AF FLOW Creates Award-Winning Canvas at ICE Kraków Congress Centre
In the heart of Kraków, the ICE Kraków Congress Centre showcases architectural innovation on an impressive scale. This landmark venue demonstrates how sophisticated flooring solutions can enhance world-class cultural spaces, with over 8,000m² of SIBEXTREME AF FLOW creating a seamless canvas throughout.
The 10mm thick self-levelling topping delivers a continuous, joint-free surface in light cream, perfectly complementing the building’s organic architecture. The floor’s subtle satin finish creates harmony between the venue’s bold design elements, including dramatic red walls and sweeping structural forms.
SIBEXTREME AF FLOW’s flawless application supports the architect’s vision of a space that flows naturally towards the Vistula River. The expansive glazed foyer, enhanced by the seamless flooring, creates a dialogue between the building’s interior and Kraków’s historic cityscape, integrating congress and concert attendees with their surroundings.
This multi-functional venue’s architectural excellence has earned international recognition, including the World Architecture Festival’s main prize in Barcelona 2009 for Future Project/Cultural Object, and the prestigious Platinum A’ Design Award 2015.
